Who Are We?
We are a diverse group of talented writers and actors with the shared goal of creating quality sketch comedy. We met through our time at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, where many of our members still perform. 15 Minutes Away formed in December of 2021, and first took the stage as soon as theaters began to reopen after the shutdown. We continue to carve out our space in the landscape of a post covid NYC comedy scene.
What We Do
Punchy and smart UCB style sketch comedy that loves playing with genre and relationships. We explore the dangers of crossing a bridge troll with marriage issues, the difficulties of getting hired at Best Buy when you’re The Terminator, and just about everything in between.
